Description

Smack in the center of S.F.'s French Quarter is this Parisian bistro with sidewalk tables and 500 newspapers and magazines from around the world. After perusing the pages of Die Zeit, Il Messaggero, or Le Canard Enchaîné over a café au lait, head to the adjacent sunken dining room for ultra-classic dishes like cassoulet, coquilles Saint Jacques, or chocolate mousse. The alderwood bar, exposed brick, and vintage ceiling fans create an evocative ambiance, and flatscreen TVs play fashion shows from around the globe.
