The more promiscuous sister to neighboring Tapas y Tintos, Cafe Barcelona shares Tapas' kitchen, but not its early-to-bed clientele. Bartenders here have a penchant for climbing atop the bar and dancing to resident DJ Omar Seth's lively open-format musings. Homemade sangria flows until 5 a.m. virtually every night, making the cafe an ideal place for local club workers to take a load off and commiserate about the hassles of the work night. Guests can venture into the cozy dining room, adorned with intricate mosaic tiling, Spanish-style mirrors, collages of famous Barcelona scenes, and images of retro pinup girls clad in snippets of black lace. Simple wooden tables and dark leather chairs invite visitors to sit and indulge in one of the restaurant's specialties, such as jamon iberico de bellota, free-range, acorn-fed ham, and a reasonably priced ($30-$50) bottle of Albarino wine.
