Gourmet burgers are a local specialty, and BurgerMeister's are among the best: half-pound patties of Niman Ranch beef grilled to a smoky medium rare and served au naturel or with anything from chili con carne to fresh mango. The fries are hot and crunchy; the shakes are made from Mitchell's matchless chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice creams; and the bright, tidy setting is friendly and fun.
