This inauspicious looking Seven Corners bar hides behind its humble façade one of Minneapolis's preeminent cult-burgers: The Lonely Guy. LG is a fierce and feisty fellow: Fresh beef, black pepper, and lots of fresh chopped garlic create his body; sweet, sautéed onions make his lid; melted pepper-cheese forms his crown. He arrives cradled in a soft, white bun seared on the inside till it's crisp, accompanied by fries or coleslaw. Get the fries, drench them in the vinegary house hot sauce, wash them down with a (cheap!) pitcher of beer, and contemplate the pleasures of solitude. If it gets too lonesome for you, consider the alternative and next time pack your toothbrush.
