Have a look around the King of Beers' castle for an hour or so and experience how fresh beer is brewed. Tasting is encouraged! Call for seasonal ho...
Head for the mountains of...Belgium? Like it or not, Anheuser-Busch is now Brito's brew, in bed with Stella and a part of the InBev empire. But don't let that deter you from taking in the splendor of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour. Less secretive than Willy Wonka's factory, the Anheuser-Busch complex invites people of all ages to come and experience the entire process — from beechwood aging to bottling — of creating an ice-cold Bud. The hourlong tour takes visitors through the history of the brewery, including one of the darkest periods in the nation's history, Prohibition, when the company produced (gasp!) only nonalcoholic beverages. Other highlights include meeting the Clydesdales, seeing three historic landmarks, discovering what wort is and watching the Laverne & Shirley-style magic along the bottle line. And of course, there is the main attraction: free beer. The tour ends in the hospitality room, with your choice of any two of the finest drinks St. Louis' semi-local brewery has to offer. As Jeff the tour guide says when he greets the crowd, "We're your golden ticket to free beer." So please, stay with the group.
Fun tours, they are the best when you get to see the bottling part (not always a part of the tour).
Free samples at the end of the tour. Its also just interesting to see the steps on brewing a famous beer. The Clydesdales and the dog are all there.

Need to tell someone it's really, truly over? Looking to send a message that says, "It's not me, it's you"? Take your soon-to-be-jilted lover on a tour of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Breathe in the aroma of hops and bitter irony as you stand in the shadow of a St. Louis icon -- a place we always knew would be there for us, keeping jobs flowing like a freshly tapped keg of Bud. Then remind your no-longer-special someone about the worst breakup letter of all: the one from A-B to its St.... More »
Sometimes, calling a new restaurant "a new restaurant" feels wrong. Not wrong in the sense of incorrect. Wrong like waking up hung-over in a youth hostel, not quite sure which former Soviet republic you're visiting. Wrong like rooting for a... More »
To paraphrase Napoleon Dynamite's excellent pick-up line: "I see you're drinking Michelob Ultra. Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could be drinking Michelob if you wanted to." We're sitting outside of the Brewery on a ... More »
