Buckley's is college bar heaven. The house team at this lower Queen Anne locale is, inexplicably, the Iowa Hawkeyes. But fans of Boise State and even the much-maligned University of Southern California are welcome to mix it up with Cougars, Huskies and any other imaginable fan. Buckley's is consistently loud and crowded and the service can be frustratingly slow. But given the college banner decor, people expecting a wait staff to politely keep your water glass topped off are in the wrong place. Still, the menu is decent and very heavy on the shareable appetizers. Of note: Buckley's jumped on the sweet potato fry bandwagon and nails it with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce.
