New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
Steps away from the sand, inside Fort Lauderdale's Yankee Clipper Hotel lurks a passageway into the underwater world of magical mermaids. Once inside the Wreck Bar, you'll forget that you just walked through a hotel lobby. Dripping in nautical garb, the room is lined in fishtanks, and a bit reminiscent of the once popular theme-park ride 20,000 leagues under the sea. After one too many tropical cocktails, you might be wondering whether or not you actually stepped into a submarine. Behind the bar, large windows act as portholes into the hotel's pool, where you may catch a school of mermaids floating by. On Friday nights, be sure to catch the mystical ways of MeduSirena, Fort Lauderdale's own fire-eating mermaid. Show begins at 6:30p.m., but you might want to get there early in order to grab a seat. And to think mermaids only existed in Disney films. . .

Old Florida at its very best. The women are graceful, athletic and very entertaining. No one isn't smiling at them and they are always smiling back. The drinks aren't bad, either. Don't miss the opportunity if you're in the area. You just can't find this kind of a show anywhere. Check out this little video if you doubt me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOw1FBcSTjE

Named Best Bar To Take Out-of-Towners by New Times Broward Palm Beach! The bar with a half hour show of flirtatious mermaids and their angelic underwater choreography
Kelly is the best server here, make sure you ask for her!
Liz the bartender is HOT! Tip her well.
Service could be quicker, a better menu is needed, very limited. The nice thing is they did get chicken strips for my son from room service so he was happy, but is wasnt on the menu had to ask.
