New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
The Backyard Bar in downtown West Palm Beach ranks high for its location and concept, but when it comes to execution, this wine and tapas bar falls short. Behind the Hibiscus Hotel, the outdoor space is set up like an eclectic South Florida backyard, with wrought-iron tables and chairs spaced among tall palm trees atop a deck of concrete pavers and gravel. Lanterns, a fire pit, and lights strung overheard add a romantic, laid-back ambiance at night, while regular live music keeps the energy fun and fresh. As for service and expertise on menu items, don't expect as much from the Backyard Bar. Long wait times and subpar tapas offerings take away from the atmosphere of this potentially poppin' neighborhood spot.
Experience a tropical oasis, centrally located within the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach, at Palm Beach Hibiscus. Just one block North of Publix @ CityPlace, the boutique bed and breakfast offers much more than cozy, beautifully decorated guestrooms.

Get the lime basil margarita with fresh basil from the garden!
Try the sangria and tapas.
Love this place! Spent NYE with them. Everything is awesome, food, service and staff! Go check out their weekend brunch. And if you need a caterer, you MUST have Mel & Cheffie do your catering!
It's nice. Looks like a bed and breakfast, but its a bar. Friendly staff.
