Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
This Italian eatery in northern Fort Lauderdale serves ingredient-driven Italian fare in a romantic setting. Daily specials such as melting imported burrata cheese and diver scallops seared and served on the half shell are unburdened by excess, allowing their core flavors to sing. Imported pastas come topped with fresh pancetta and broccoli rabe, and hulking cuts of meat like a two-inch-thick veal chop and tender osso buco are equally satisfying. The wait staff is cordial, well-trained, and, best of all, empathetic to your every need. Service is near flawless and is neither too stuffy nor too casual. Reservations are highly recommended.
