New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description

Clematis’ rollicking taco and tequila bar takes a page from Boca Raton’s MoQuila, where operator Rocco Mangel once served as manager. The bar is stocked with an enviable selection of silver, reposado, and anejo tequilas, poured into sexy, sort-stemmed blue tumblers by handsome waitrons. The design reflects a marriage of contemporary décor with Southwestern flourishes like pinpricked naugahyde and coffee-colored wooden paneling. Sipping shots from the bar and supping on chili powder-flecked chips and guacamole made tableside is good fun. But the tacos at Rocco’s don’t live up to the name. There are eight varieties ranging from $3 to $4 a pop, like mahi mahi, steak, and meatballs with sautéed peppers. Most are hit or miss. Still, the bar scene is a trip and the drinks are strong.

I'm with ya Whittney! Nice guac and filling burritto hits the spot...don't forget to wash it down w/ some TeQuila or water... whatever. Only question is whether its worth the trip?

Jumpin' Joint. A good looking crowd in a sexy atmosphere with lots of exposed brick and amazing light fixtures bursting from the ceiling.

decidedly different menu, with an eclectic assortment of Mexican food - better than one would've expected - flan was like no other i have had!!

The guacamole made table-side is a huge draw, but we can’t get over the tequila - with more than a 150 options to choose from

Guacamole, go no further than guacamole. If you don't you will regret it.

definitely try this place during happy hour- order a couple of tacos (soft shell or hard, your choice) and a nice cold brew and you're set for under $20
