New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description

Ale Houses dot the South Florida landscape every 15 miles or so: Doral, North Miami, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, all the way up through Boynton Beach. This one on Yamato Road in Boca is special for two reasons. First, it's right across the street from American Media -- which publishes the National Enquirer, Globe, and Star. So the lunch conversations you'll overhear are uh, unique. While lunch is packed -- because this particular Ale House is nestled in an office park -- there's rarely a big wait for dinner. For a sports-pub (there are a dozen flat-screen TVs) the food is damn impressive. There are burgers and steaks, of course, plus more than 10 salads, a great turkey burger (get it blackened), a seafood mac & cheese (with shrimp and scallops), and "Zingers" (basically chicken fingers, made with a trademarked secret process)

$6 Miller pitchers and $2 patrol shots? Are you kidding? Add a pound and a quarter of ribs with sweet potato fried and try telling me it's not the best day of your life.
