Michele's Dining Lounge
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306
New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
Nestled in a strip mall alongside East Oakland Park Boulevard is Michele's Dining Lounge, a neighborhood bar with an upscale twist. An enormous crystal chandelier glitters above the entryway, and Frank Sinatra's music echoes throughout the contemporary-styled lounge. Illuminated top-shelf liquor bottles line the marble bar where groups of 50-somethings sip on specialty-infused vodka martinis and snack on light hors d'oeuvres. Included in the martini selection is the "Ducktini," a citrus-flavored cocktail from which half the proceeds are donated to Kids in Distress. Michele's fusion of a trendy environment with a casual attitude provides loungegoers with an eclectic drinking experience.
