New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description

Occupying the space that housed Jackson's Steakhouse on Las Olas for years, this place is filling the void for high-end cuisine that was left in its wake when it closed years ago. With shiny white subway tiles, warm woods, and vintage-inspired light fixtures, the space looks much like the old-school oyster bars from back in the day. The menu, however, is anything but antiquated: The food at Lobster Bar has been hailed as some of the best on the block in dishes like razor clam and scallop ceviche, flash fried lobster tails, and Mediterranean octopus. Here you'll find style and substance.

If I had to give this restaurant a rating, I would give it a 10!!! Not only for the food, but the atmosphere and the service. The CEO has another winner on his hands, and kuddos to Mr. Karatassos, his 2 sons, Niko, and Pano, Paul Baldasaro, Ramien Balouch, Jackie Yeaple, and the GM, George Mollas. They worked tirelessly to open a fine dining establishment, with excellent food,... More >>

Lange Pinot Gris is crisp clean affordable good wine choice. Archery Summit Pinot Noir is slightly pricey but worth it with The Artic Char and Tuna

Bouchard Pouilly Fuisse and escargot- delish!

  • We are so excited to become a part of the Las Olas family! The boulevard is home to so many great options and we cannot wait for Lobster Bar Sea Grille to open and join the neighborhood.

Got the steak tartare, calamari and the broiled 1.5 LB lobster. So delicious! Happy Hour is until 7:30 so you can get some great half prices apps and drinks at a reasonable hour!

Food and service were top notch. Felt like I was back in NYC. Although pricey, the flash fried lobster tail specialty is great. Crab cake app and beet salad also top choices.
