New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
The first franchise of the original Delray Beach location to be launched in many years, this installment lives up to the decades-old name. Stick to the burgers and you can't go wrong. Put simply, the 50-odd variations on the seven-ounce sirloin burger theme are enough to provide aficionados with a differently topped beef patty every week of the year. Appetizers such as breaded zucchini and mushrooms boast real vegetables that taste like 'em too, and other sandwiches like the tuna melt rate consistently, especially since the tuna salad is made fresh every day. Keep in mind, though, that everything from clam strips to the nonbreaded chicken tenders in the sesame-soy chicken salad tends to be well-done via the deep fryer.
