New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
Jazziz Nightlife earns high marks for ambiance and solid bookings, but when it comes to service, this high-end venue falls short. A large, open dining room and bar area overlook a grand stage where national acts in contemporary and older-school jazz come to provide a night of mellow entertainment for dining and drinking guests. However, even with a reservation, it can be tough finding a seat in the house worth your while. Whether it’s too loud in the general dining area (probably due to lack of soundproofing) or too hot outside, management seems to have a hard time accommodating guests. An older but lively crowd usually shows up for the music, but unless you’re a die-hard fan with a reservation, be wary – and don’t be surprised if you end up moving your party to a spot with better service for the price and for music that doesn’t kill the conversation.
Tips from foursquare
The music, scallops app & chocolate chip bread pudding dessert are amazing. Dont miss the the cigar lounge in the back. Pic is the view of the stage from the Chefs Table. This place is cool.
The people are really old. But more power to them!
Great new jazz club with amazing music - perfect for a date night.
The burgers are a mix if 3 choice ground meats. In the face of all the great menu items the burger doesn't disappoint. And all the reviews about the bread pudding are true. Get it.
This is the kind of club I have been looking for! Terrific lineup of artists with my two all-time faves, Gino Vannelli and Swing Out Sister! Great dining room & cigar bar, too! (Try the calamari!)
