New Times Broward-Palm Beach's Description
Edward Hopper's classic diner brought to life, but with digital jukebox, flat-screen TVs, a full liquor bar, and live music. Howley's has been open in the same West Palm Beach location for half a century, but never has it looked so spiffy, and never has the clientele had such good lighting to flirt under. Diner fare includes homemade mashed potatoes and meat loaf, Philly cheese steak with fat steak fries or onion rings, daily turkey dinner with all the trimmings, New York strip steaks, caesar salads, Reuben sandwiches, crab cakes, sides of Brussels sprouts or spinach, and the welcome addition of bloody marys and silly martinis - all at reasonable prices.
Tips from foursquare
The best breakfast in West Palm Beach!
The fried mozzarella is ridiculously awesome.
The food is excellent but service is slow 4 out of every 5 visits.
Great hangover cure.....oh and awesome food yyyuuummm
My idea of wake & bake: coffee & a Bellini. Just peachy!
