A fratty sports bar that serves pretty good barbecue for being a Yankee establishment, Brother Jimmyas can scare the piss out of those who favor the trendier downtown nightlife. The Clear Channel music, loud sports games, and clean-cut crowd may turn your insides, but take note: If you get a huge group of friends together, take over a section of the bar, and start doing shots of JA$?ger after ordering the Swamp Wateraa vodka mellon drink served in a fishbowlathe night can turn out surprisingly well. But you still should have stayed below 14th Street.
