Started in 1983, Brisket Bar B.Q. had expanded from its original roots of serving heaping plates of barbecue to diners. The restaurant now offers delivery, catering and even has its own private event center that can accommodate up to 300 people. Food offerings include all the usual barbecue favorites, such as beef, chicken, turkey and sausage, as well as pork shops, catfish and shrimp plates. They also have hamburgers, hot dogs, stuffed baked potatoes and a variety of salads. For a sweet end to the meal, try one of their homemade brownies. The dining room is fittingly casual.
