Description

This is Italian-American done with pride, and the best ingredients around. The ambiance is not old school, but also certainly not hip or modern, but who cares? The food is like home cooking, and that doesn't mean heavy or overly seasoned. The salami is first-rate for antipasto, as is the fresh mozzarella, and the fried calamari (which achieves an almost unthinkable lightness). Pasta dishes are classic, like penne alla vodka, but not overly huge or overcooked, as is often the case with "red sauce" places. And entrées are delicate and balanced.
