Brickell Social Club 

Somewhere between the nightly masses of Fado Irish Pub, Blue Martini, and Taverna Opa in Mary Brickell Village, the local crowd seems to have been somewhat forgotten and set aside on the social back-burner. With the overwhelming cluster of college students and tourists, parking, and overly-priced drinks, locals were left with few options where they can go mid-week, unwind, and mingle with other fellow locals. That was the case until Fifty at the Viceory Miami began its weekly party for locals, the Brickell Social Club. Every Wednesday from 5 p.m.-midnight, Fifty transforms into a locals only zone for those who reside or live in the area. After the complimentary hors d'oeuvres served from 5-7 p.m., drinks and select bottles of wine and spirits will be half off all night, and those who show proof of Brickell residence or employment can bring a friend along and get in for free. — By Laurie Charles
