Brazen Head

The Brazen Head brazenly hasn't changed much in 30-plus years. The stained glass windows in the entryway, burgundy carpets, U-shaped wooden bar ― to anyone who grew up in the 1970s and 1980s, the decor feels as familiar as as Scooby-Doo reruns. So does the menu of steaks, burgers, and almost-forgotten classics like roasted heads of garlic with Camembert and prawns scampi. Meals all come with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The food's not going to change your world, which is just why the Brazen Head's many regulars patronize the place. One warning: no checks or credit cards are accepted.
