Bowl is one of a string of concept-it-yourself salad restaurants popping up around town. Salad toppings and dressings are tangy, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small and fills quickly during the lunch hour. Sandwiches - both traditional sammies and grilled paninis - are excellent as well. Pizzas are made with classic flavors and ingredients, though are inconsistently cooked. The restaurant prides itself on the little things - creative iced teas, homemade potato chips, fresh breads and gorgeous ingredients.
Like Ginny Braud, I love sandwiches. Let me say that again: I LOVE sandwiches. Everyone who knows me knows this. It's become almost embarrassing given the fact that I'm on the wrong side of 40 and I s... More »
Fondue, sandwiches and hot pot, they're fun and all, but food just tastes better when other people make it for you. And salads are no exception. I'm always entranced by the gleaming surfaces and myriad toppings at the Central Market salad bar,... More »
Everyone's favorite hidden Montrose hangout has just gotten a new neighbor. "Running Absinthe Brasserie and working until five a.m., then getting up at seven a.m. now that I have two kids, is getting to me," says Ralph Rager, one of the owners of... More »
I ate at bowl for lunch yesterday and had an amazing salad! Their entire menu looked delish too! They also have a wide variety of toppings, cheeses, and meats to throw in your salad. Great environment and lunch spot! If you're looking for a light/good lunch, come here!
Went here for lunch yesterday, LOVED it! I did the make your own salad where you pick 10 toppings, type of lettuce, type of cheese, and dressing. I did a random and delicious mixture of buffalo mozzerella, grilled portabello mushrooms, jalapenos, pineapples, walnuts, and tons more. It was an awesome salad, and not too big. The other menu items looked delicious as well - cant wait to try the thin crust pizza!
This a quaint spot off the beaten path is prime to become the neighborhood cafe. I jumped on "Hand Made Thin Crust Pizza" (The Tomato Basil Goat Cheese) Shared it with my friend and we each had a "Solo" salad in which we got to pick any 10 toppings from a list of what seemed like a million..... The salad ?? Fresh Fresh Fresh and the pizza?? Crunchy crust .. melting cheese.. We went back the next day... Good Action
