This strange gastronomic institution was recently implanted in the foyer of the Bowery Poetry Club, where we've been to many slams, readings, and commemorative performances. The menu is comically short: restricted to a single roast beef sandwich--either with or without cheese--and a bagel, though we never saw any bagels. The sandwich is channeling the one found at Harrison's in North Andover, Massachusetts, and similar "Boston-style" North Shore places (think Arby's, only good), and condiments include mayo, horseradish, raw onions, and a certain brand of Yankee barbecue sauce. Groove on this gloppy treat--then try to wipe all the dripped goo off your shirt.
