Description

Located in Downtown Minneapolis, Bootleggers features an anti-Prohibition theme and a two-level, four-bar layout, each with its own unique vibe. The main level patio allows patrons to take advantage of the Minnesota weather when it's nice, but heating lamps can keep you warm if needed. The upper level bar has comfy couches and more of a lounge feel, as well as pool tables, dartboards and nostalgic arcade fixtures like Skee-Ball and a Ms. Pacman machine. And the upper-level patio bar suits the needs of visiting sports fans by featuring a huge flat screen TV.

One of my favorite downtown bars. Reminds me of my days at the University of South Dakota. Great college night on Wednesday, a great ladies night on Thursday and live cover band music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, mixed in with great hip-hop in between sets. Cover is $5 once its actually late enough to go out but if you get on their e-mail or phone list, just call ahead to "reserve" you and your party and they waive the cover.
