Description

Like its big sister on Capitol Hill, this homage to Japan's favorite casual fare has been gaining converts since it opened. Fans slurp up Boom's hot noodles and soup, cold noodles, wok-fried noodles. It's also a good plan to go large with the small plates: pureed edamame, miso rice cakes, salmon tataki, ahi tacos and more. Creative cocktails feature fresh-squeezed juices, but Boom's also got one of the best booze-free drink menus around. The cucumber-mint fizz and yuzu lemonade are as refreshing as a plunge in the Shimanto River.
