The crowd can vary depending on the season and the evening, but generally there's a healthy mix of goth/steampunk partiers, bad-ass folks chilling in leather/vinyl gear, experimental college kids, and curious prepsters having a good time people-watching. Downstairs, people dance (or pose in dark spaces) while DJs spin industrial, techno, and other dark beats. Upstairs, folks can take in a BDSM show hosted by the most unforgiving dominatrix, and can even join in on the scene for a little extra cash. After working up an appetite, stop over at the restaurant and bar for a late-night snack. 21+.

Ground Zero is a centrally located bar with an authentic underground, industrial and stylish character. Don't be surprised to see the space decorated with chain-linked fences, street signs, stone statues and skeletons, as it adds to the subversive atmosphere created by the dominatrix cage-style dancers and low, colored lighting. It offers a very large dance floor, two levels, two bars, and several themed nights, including the long-running Bondage-A-Go-Go.
