Brains, anyone? We had to try 'em, in the form of brain masala, made with ghee (clarified butter) and delicious spices. And what, you ask, do they taste like? Not chicken, smarty-pants. Really, the texture was nothing off-putting; they reminded us of spicy shredded crab meat with a hint of curry, cardamom and cumin. And don't worry. Bombay Dining has a whole range of mouth-watering (or mouth-scorching, if that's how you like it) cuisine from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh served in an expansive red-accented dining room. The traditional cucumber salad was very fresh with succulent onions and juicy tomatoes topped with a light, tangy dressing of exotic spices and fresh lemon. The garlic naan wasn't too strong, and we tried matar paneer, made with homemade cheese and fresh peas in a smooth curry sauce. Both dishes were served with rice topped with the typical Indian crispy onion strings. A sweet taste goes well with a spicy meal, so we ordered the lusciously refreshing mango lassi (mango juice and yogurt) over ice. The chai, a tea made with cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, was a fitting finish.
