Learning about the human body is a lot like learning to fix a car: there’s no better way to see how it works than by taking it apart and trying to put all the pieces back in their rightful place. The Arizona Science Center’s Body Depot Workshops give curious folks a chance to play mechanic in three separate exercises. In "Monster Manual," they’ll decode the patterns in life's instruction manual as they build monsters; "Venom!" teaches protein folding through models based on the Deathstalker scorpion's toxin; and the hands-on dissections during "Busy Bones" give participants an appreciation for all the working parts that make our bodies run.
