Those who are not guests at the Doubletree may find going up an escalator to get to a bar a little strange. Once inside, the view of Biscayne Bay makes the semi-awkward voyage worthwhile. Bleu Moon is dark and cozy and lets the light off the bay fill most of the room. The space features a full-wall projection screen, multiple flat screens, a pool table, and an outdoor patio. Some of the TVs feature sports coverage while others flip through music videos that simultaneously play over the speakers. It seems like most of the patrons are guests at the hotel, but occasionally a group of friends come into the bar or pool area; this laid-back spot seems to be their secret hideaway.
