If the service at this convivial British pub seems confused, its probably because the waiter has been working since 5am, serving beer to football fanatics from all over the world. Yes, the place is open whenever there"s an important football game on somewhere, no matter what time. As for the food, you don"t want to expect too much. On the other hand, much of it is solid pub grub. Get a full English breakfast, but ask for extra black pudding, which is the best part. (The fried bread comes in a close second.) Fish and chips, meat pies, and Sunday roasts are also on offer.
