Black Bottle looks lovely from the outside, beckoning passers-by with its warm light, rows of wine bottles and handsome Belltowners huddled over small plates. The menu ranges wildly, so it's up to the eater to establish a dinner theme: There's fried chicken, boar ribs and bacon-wrapped scallops for bourbon drinkers. Diners hoisting tequila might prefer cumin pork and ceviche.
