Description

It's nothing more than a counter and window poking out onto the street, but this sandwich stall fabricates excellent Middle Eastern-inflected eats. The sabih sandwich features hummus, eggplant, hard-boiled egg, salad and hot sauce piled into a whole-grain Balthazar roll--like spiced egg salad, with hummus standing in for mayo. Exotica tuna equals curried tuna salad with raisins, almonds and bits of red cabbage and carrot mixed in. Theres also a branch at Union Square.
