Description

Chef Scott Carsberg ran Lampreia for a decade before relocating his gorgeous, complicated plates to the menu at the studiously casual Bisato, the recession-driven successor to the media darling. The food's terribly impressive, although it often seems nobody's as impressed as Carsberg, who's invested far more thought in plate presentation than the guest experience, which is often sadly blah. Still, tolerating tepid service is sometimes a fair trade for a stunning veloute.
