Description

The night we were in this picture-perfect tintype saloon, Bill's Gay Nineties was completely deserted save for the piano manawho sang and played like Charlie Rich (swoon)aand Ritchie the bartender, who took us upstairs to look at the incredible theater memorabilia. New York's oldest nostalgia barastarting off as a speakeasy around 1930, soon after repeal, it began featuring old ragtimers and vaudevillians (hence the name)ait's kinda forlorn and kinda haunted. But the ghosts got class.
