Description
Chef Alessandro Stratta left Las Vegas to open this restaurant located on the ground floor of a West Village townhouse. Pretty from the outside, yes, but the décor in the main atrium is New Jersey wedding banquet hall. The grub's decent, especially the pastas (don't miss the veal agnolotti with mushrooms in a rich jus or the chef's signature oxtail-topped noodles). Among the entrées, your best bet is one of the braised meats. Still, prices aren't exactly cheap, and you can find better Italian options elsewhere in the neighborhood.
