Description

People certainly don't come here for the atmosphere, which is about as bare-bones as it gets with dingy floor tiles, unadorned walls and tables and a row of dead ducks hanging in the window. The reason people have been coming here for more than three decades has more to do with the food coming out of the kitchen and the size of the bill at the end of the meal. This is classic Chinatown cuisine: beef noodle soup, lo mein, congee, kung pao chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, mapo tofu and much more. Order a bunch of dishes and share family style; you�ll probably get of here for less than $10 total. Wash everything down with a cold Tsingtao and or cup of hot tea. Meals here tend to be quick affairs, with servers doing their best to get you in and out in as little time as possible.—Keith Wagstaff
