This bare-bones establishment showcases the food of Bangladesh. How's that different than regular Indian food, you wonder? Well, many of the dishes are spiked with mustard oil, which gives them a pleasant burn as they descend the digestive tract, and freshwater fish are a special passion. The tandoori fish in the glass case above the steam table is superb, especially sided with anything containing mustard greens ("saag"). Our favorite dish, hands down, is the goat curry, a very rich stew laced with an incredible quantity of cilantro. Specials in the $6 to $7 range allow you to gang up meat and vegetables dishes, served with a choice of rice or a flatbread. Ask for tamarind or cilantro chutney.
