Not to be confused with Bender's Tavern in Capitol Hill, Bender's Bar & Grill in Westminster is a completely different scene. While the word "bender" usually evokes some sort of vice-filled spree, the name of this place, which was formerly Jackson's All-American Sports Grill, refers more to folks who bend their ankles while ice skating. Fitting, since this hockey-themed sports bar overlooks the Ice Centre at the Promenade. It's the ideal spot to catch a hockey game on any of the numerous flat-screen TVs hanging throughout the spacious bar. While the grownups might come to watch the games, Bender's also has a number of arcade games for the kids. The kitchen serves a full menu that includes wings, steak, pasta, pizzas, burgers and sandwiches.
