This bare bones, warehouse style, underground music venue on the northern border of Overtown mostly hosts local and touring acts from the heavy side of the music spectrum. The folks in charge form the band Shroud Eater, and The Cave is also their practice space. There is room enough for circle pits, crowd surfing, and of course standing hard with your arms crossed. It is not a traditional club and there are no bottle specials, but the music is loud, and so is the crowd. This venue won our Best Rock CLub award for 2011.

Enter Beelzebub's Cave. It's the underground home of local heavy-tuneage heroes Jean Saiz, Janette Valentine, and Felipe Torres, a threesome otherwise known as Shroud Eater. They sleep here.
