There are three things you should know about Bedlam, Alphabet City's newest Place to Be. 1) It's owned by Benjamin Maisani, Anderson Cooper's good friend. Both can be frequently spotted there. 2) The interior is essentially a club version of the SoHo store Evolution. Taxidermied critters and Jumanji-type oddities are plastered all over the walls, including a giant moose head, 19th-century anatomical prints, leather-bound books, and artifacts aplenty. 3) It boasts a very cool, bro-less crowd: an even mix of indie dudes, gay guys, and It Girls. All of them can be spotted on the dance floor, especially when the DJ is playing Nicki Minaj--something they can all agree on.
