Cahuenga Blvd's ever-changing complexion will always have one very sexy beauty mark: the Beauty Bar. With its sparkly walls, retro Parlour collectables and hair-dryer seating, Beauty seems to attract Hollywood's hippest hordes, even after 10 years on the crowded clubber's "corridor." Of course, the kitschy joint was not a new concept when it came Hollywood; owner Paul Devitt already had Bars in New York (est. 1995) and San Francisco (est. 1998), but Tinseltown, with its ghosts of glamour girls past, might be its best fit ever. Top DJs (often including band dudes/chicks giving a twirl on decks) spinning everything from rock to hip-hop, martini and manicure specials and a dolled-up, drink swilling scene make B-Bar an enduring A+ destination.
