Description

Nestled among college bars near Southern Methodist University in Upper Greenville is this local favorite, a spacious Thai-Asian restaurant with carved-wood walls and pointed archways. In business since 1993, the attentive and friendly staff serves customers at tables that are covered with red tablecloth and glass-topped. These customers almost always order the Imperial Rolls (spring rolls with shrimp) and corn patties (a fried corn paste and cucumber sauce fritter) to start. Aside from the curries, like the padang and noodles, the menu offers house specialties, among them the fiery volcano shrimp and the prik king chicken noodle Of course, if you're in the mood for the most stereotypical of Thai dishes, the pad Thai and pad see ew are there for you.

    Nondescript and parking can be a challenge, but it's worth it for the spring rolls, hot pot soups and chili noodles. Never a wait and always delish.

    This place is great - best Thai in Dallas! Everyone who works there is always kind and helpful. Go there for the ambiance and amazing food! Oh, and make sure to say hi to Joe, the owner. He makes the visit complete and extremely worth your while!
