Description

Saddle up for the hodgepodge that is Snider Plaza shopping and get your grub on local-like (i.e., Tex-Mex). People do that at Bandito's, where the enchiladas can't get any more Tex-Mex than described in the restaurant's mission: "There are over a million different enchilada recipes. The best is still beefy, cheesy and a little greasy." The front is all sports bar. But the dining tables sees the magic happen -- kitschy décor included -- with such specialties as the Kuby's "Aged-Ribeye" Tacos, a trio of tacos with steak from Kuby's Sausage House next door piled high with garnishes. But it's the Amigo's chicken that boomerangs customers. That specialty is a mammoth chicken breast drowned in Monterey Jack cheese, bacon and mushrooms with a pre-Columbian pyramid of rice and charro beans. All this should be washed down with the house margarita or the "ethyl" marg with Sauza Silver and sangria.
