The perhaps overly complicated menu at Baby Blues BBQ offers many ways to combine the basics: excellent pulled pork, shredded beef brisket, wonderful Memphis ribs, meaty baby back ribs, and an enormous, Flinstonian grilled beef rib (served one to a plate). Fourteen different sides are on offer at this Mission District/ Bernal Heights restaurant. The banana pudding has a texture like thick whipped cream, and the pecan pie is very good, as is the cornbread.
