Description

As small as the restaurant is, the pho, this Vietnamese restaurant's signature noodle soup, is large. Cuts of meat (whether pork or rare beef) share real estate with a hydroponic garden of veggies and thick tubes of pasta begging to be slurped. This is especially so when hungover or suffering from a head cold. The other draw here -- and you won't find just local Vietnamese diners -- is the banh mi, a sandwich of shredded meat (traditionally pork) with crunchy julienne vegetables and chile heat on a baguette. It's a simple sandwich in a simple strip mall for a less than a few bucks. Customers in search of more mainstream Vietnamese classics will also be pleased with the menu, beginning with the spring rolls. Just don't expect fancy.
