Description

With a Southwest theme, Axel"s is all about the wood-fire grill. Its signature appetizer, Bull Bites, are blackened tenderloin tips, served with béarnaise sauce and horseradish cream sauce for $11.95. Kids eat free Sunday night with the purchase of a paid adult entrée, and they can build their own pizza and sundae. Menu standouts include the prime rib, smoked St. Louis-style ribs, and the wood-fire-grilled New York strip. Axel's runs a nice happy hour daily from 3 to 6 p.m. and 9 to close, offering $2 off all drinks from the bar and half off appetizers and pizzas.
