From the owners of Central Phoenix's Tuck Shop comes this new small-plate breakfast and lunch spot at 12th and Oak streets. The homey eatery -- actually, an annex of the Tuck -- features a tidy selection of sweet and savory breakfast offerings, including Biscuits & Grillades (Southern beef gravy over two buttermilk biscuits), Red Flannel Hash (beet, potato, and root vegetables with egg), and Apple Boxty (grated apple and potato pancakes with a healthy dollop of mascarpone). For lunch, there's a Roast Beef Po-Boy, muffaletta, Cuban sandwich, and salads. No plate is more than $9, so ordering several and sharing with the table is the best way to go.

Astor House is such a cute central Phoenix spot. Go for brunch, sit outside, and get the quiche - yum! Their drinks are tasty too, and the place has the perfect atmosphere for a cozy little Sunday funday.
We love the Coronado District's Tuck Shop. And now, when it comes to tasty a.m. eats, we love its new sister restaurant and next-door neighbor, Astor House, just as much. The little counter-service eatery in a renovated home is just as laid-back and approachably cool as the Tuck, making it perfect for enjoying a tidy selection of sweet and savory breakfast offerings including Biscuits & Grillades (Southern beef gravy over two buttermilk biscuits), Red Flannel Hash (beet, potato, and root...
