Description

At this Laurel Heights Eritrean restaurant, enjoy soft folds of bubbly injera bread, deeply spiced lentils, and stews of lamb and chicken, rich and fragrant with spiced butter. The traditional bottle of honey wine may be too sweet for many palates, so cold beer is a fine accompaniment as well. While Eritrean food can be overwhelmingly spicy, this restaurant's fare strikes a balance between flavor and heat. Service is friendly and welcoming.
