How do you take a near perfect food--the hot dog--and fashion it into something even better? Make it Asian! This Brooklyn Flea favorite has gone brick-and-mortar in Nolita, selling Far Eastern franks (beef, chicken, or veggie). Try the classic Mel + Steve, topped with sesame slaw, or the banh mi-inspired Vinh, loaded with pork pté and pickled carrots and daikon. This tiny storefront has only two small tables, but offers some new menu additions like the bulgogi burger and what is quite possibly the world's first Korean corndog, prepared with kimchi pajun batter. Not your typical county fair fare, that's for sure.
