Owner Mark Gunsky transformed what was once a private home in Studio City into a full-service cafe in the mid-'90s. What initially was a coffee counter with a few pastries and sandwiches, now serves an array of home-cooked meals in the dining area and home-style backyard patio. Cakes, pastries, and sweets (including blue velvet cupcakes) are ordered from bakeries throughout L.A., and the espresso and coffee beans are delivered weekly by Fonte Coffee Roaster.
